A squawk is a defect or discrepancy reported on an aircraft. SAMPS lets mechanics log squawks with severity levels (critical, high, medium, low), associate them with a specific aircraft, and track them through to resolution. Critical squawks trigger dashboard alerts so they receive immediate attention.
